This is the second time I have used Double J and they are the best value for money when moving. Not only that, but they go over and beyond. Boxes and paper provided free (if you return them). We moved into an apartment that had very tricky access and they ended up not being able to get the lounge through the main entrance so Dion did everything including contacting our new neighbour below to use her courtyard and they bought the lounge over the balcony and I was wrapped! Highly recommend.

Fantastic - I have used Double J on 3 occasions. The last occasion was a Coogee to Coogee move where initially we had booked a "local" company . Unfortunately that company didn't show when scheduled and when we chased said they couldn't be there until the day later. We called Double J and they had a track and 2 men there within 1.5hrs and the move was completed a few hours later. I should have just used Double J in the first place.

Hayley was a pleasure to deal with and her boys made moving so easy even though we had our 2 young kids with us. 3.5 hours in and out, it was the fastest and smoothest move we ever did.

Nothing is too much trouble, personal service, quick and efficient, friendly and almost made it fun!!!

I would not move again with Double J simply because I have no intention of undertaking that task again. However, I would have no hesitation in recommending Double J Removals to anyone contemplating relocation. The efficiency could not be faulted from the moment Peter and Sam arrived at our Croydon Park residence on the Wednesday until, accompanied by Tyler, they relocated us at Cardinal Freeman Village on the Thursday morning. They were speedy and obliging, nothing being a problem. They took care to not mark walls, doors or furniture at both locations and were a credit to the Company. You hear such horrendous stories about removalists. Please pass on our thanks to Peter, Sam and Tyler, and to Dion and Evie; also, to yourself. You all contributed towards making what could have been an onerous task stress free. Dare I say, a breeze.

A quick note to say a very genuine thank you to all the guys that moved our antique furniture into our house yesterday. They were patient, careful, good spirited, worked well together and great at heavy lifting while carrying furniture upstairs or over the balcony. Nothing was too much to ask - whether it was placing the same piece of furniture in 3 different locations in a room and then back again or assembling an 1840's 4 poster canopy bed from scratch. A great job by all and a stress free move for us. We'll happily recommend Double J to our neighbours. Please pass on our appreciation to each of the 4 guys.

I have a commercial kitchen bench which I need to get picked up from Melbourne and delivered here. It's just a single item so I was looking for a back haul at some stage. We've gone from a modern apartment to an old house, so there is so much to organise!

For the past six years we have been utilising the services of Double J Removals & Storage on behalf of our business entities and for our personal household belongings. This has entailed several complete office packing and relocation within the Sydney Metropolitan area and also to and from NSW regional areas. These have not been straightforward moves in that they involved sophisticated and expensive office equipment, heavy items and many expensive, irreplaceable and delicate artworks, antiques and curios. Throughout all dealings with John Quigley and their staff, we have been impressed by the professional approach they take to all aspects of the job, their efficiency, reliability and their good humour even at the end of a very long and hard day. We have no hesitation in recommending their services and in fact do so to our friends and colleagues whenever the opportunity arises. We would never contemplate using anyone else to move our goods.

We are writing to thank you very much for making our recent move the easiest and most stress free moved we have ever had - and we have moved a lot across Australia! The crew you sent, Andy and Gary, were the most professional removalists we have ever met. They communicated brilliantly between each other for co-ordinating lifts and direction to move some awkward furniture peices through the common areas of our apartment complex, including a narrow entry door. Nothing was broken or damaged and Andy and Gary were both very concious of exact placement of furniture and boxes and had no hesitation in confirming instruction to ensure they understood exactly what our requirements were. Both Andy and Gary were extremely personable, friendly, knowledgeable and committed to providing a service of exceptional quality. They had an order of loading and unloading our possessions that made it so easy to unpack without having to constantly move things out of the way and double handle boxes. We reallyare so very pleased with our decision to have retained Double J for our move. As you may recall, Ryissa contracted Double J to move her boss in June of 2007 - which went very well, hence our obtaining a quote from you for our move. The quote provided was exceptionally good agaisnt the others we had collected and given our move was on Saturday January 26, Australia Day, we were delighted with the price, especially as it was more favourable than the quotes of other companies. We wholeheartedly appreciate all you have done for us with our moving requirements and will be calling upon you again in the future for any move we have to make.

As the Senior Trust Manager of Perpetual Trustee Company Limited I was responsible for engaging all service providers relative to the Trust and Estate business. The criteria in selecting service providers included reliability, honesty, promptness, diplomacy and of course price. Double J Removals & Storage were one of the excellent service providers of Perpetual. They displayed honesty at all times ensuring any cash or important documents found were returned to Perpetuals's offices. Our client's often remarked how impressed they were with the people of Double J showing sympathy and professionalism. It was often the case where Perpetual had urgent work Double J would re­schedule other jobs to ensure the more urgent work was attended to. As the Senior Trust Manger of Perpetual I felt confident Double J would do what was asked of them and I have no hesitation recommending them to any person or organisation who wishes to engage them.

I am often asked to write commercial references for suppliers. In this instance John Quigley has asked me to confirm my relationship with him. It is indeed a great pleasure to be able to unconditionally recommend John as a carrier for packing and cartage. Bonhams & Goodman is the largest Australian-owned fine art auction house with annual sales of over $22 million. We also operate Bay East Auctions which handles the sale of General Household furniture and effects. John Quigley has been engaged by us to pack and ship fragile and valuable items as well as large quantities of low value items for over ten years. We have had cause to use a number of carriers, however none have been able to provide a survive equal to John Quigley. As a result John provides package and cartage services for 80% of our requirement. Around seven years ago we recommended John to one of our largest customers, Perpetual Trustees who have used him I believe exclusively ever since. I recall an instance when we were instructed by Justice Pearlman of the Land and Environment Court to remove the contents from the premises of her late aunt. During the process John found a satchel of Edwardian jewellery hidden in a drawer. He notified us immediately, Justice Pearl man was thrilled and the jewellery subsequently made over $30,000 at auction. I am pleased to confirm that John provides an honest, efficient, and competitive service. His staff are polite and easy to deal with and his storage facilities fulfil all our needs.
